Graduate of Barnard College, Columbia University, Clio majored in architecture but quickly moved into the fabrication world of professional model-making. Fusing her spatial training and conceptual design approach with a technical skill-set, an experimental project to create apparel out of traditionally structural materials evolved into her fashion and design studio, Clio Sage, based in Brooklyn NY.

Clio accepted invitations to present runway shows for the 2017 and 2018 fashion seasons for both Vancouver and New York Fashion Week. Concurrently, she co-founded a sci-fi influenced collaborative design studio, QUCE, which presented its first collection, PRESERVATIONS, at the Brooklyn Museum in September 2017.

Both her personal and collaborative work are born out of a desire to innovate, integrate, and evolve her creations to exist in their own contextual space between the realms of the near future and current reality, with a core foundation in intensive fabrication understanding and raw experimentation.
